What is Fortuned

Fortuned is a simple, educational daemon, written to illustrate the main points presented in this lecture.  
Fortuned is available at http://www.pointer.co.il/~mulix/ and through the club's website. 
Fortuned's sole purpose in life is to present to the user a fortune device file, that is, a file that when read, produces fortunes. 
In other words, fortuned provides the standard fortune(1) program through a file interface.
