Documentation Aids Most library and system functions are documented in man pages. These pages may be read in text mode (the 'man' command) or using a GUI man pages reader ('xman', 'tkman', etc). Various tools come with info pages. These are forms of primitive hypertext pages. 'info' (and also emacs) can read such pages. There is also a 'info2html' CGI script that allows reading info pages using a web browser. Many tutorials exist, some of them come as part of the LDP (Linux Documentation Project), and are available on the Web.
