IBM's Visual Age As an example for a Java IDE for Linux, consider IBM's Visual Age. The product is available for various platforms, including Linux. Unfortunately, the evaluation version for Linux is of version 3.0, and not 3.5 (the current Visual Age For Java Version). Hopefully, this product works better from the various available Java IDEs for Windows (e.g. JBuilder - with its crashing debugger, Visual Cafe, with its crashes, slowness [its written in Java] and hard to use GUI builder) etc.
