Cooperate with Your Fellow Coders

By this stage, we spent few hours coming to terms with the
problem. Before we expand too much energy however, is it not
conceivable that someone has run into it before us? Now that we
understand the problem, we can articulate it to others, and that
allows us to efficiently:

  Search on the Web (http://www.google.com is your best friend)
  Search news groups  (http://groups.google.com is your other best friend)
  Ask on relevant mailing lists (linux-il)

When I asked on the linux-il mailing list, I received several
replies. None of the people who replied had a solution, but several
had the same problem. This allowed us to collaborate and proved very
important later on.
