Free software and free media are inevitably related to copyright laws. A vast number of licenses, such as the GPL and the Creative Commons licenses, have been formed and revised in order to cope with legal issues arising in different countries and conditions.
This lecture aims to deepen the understanding of the Creative Commons initiative and licenses in light of the new Israeli Copyright Act of 2007.
